Acceptance

Acceptance can often feel like quitting on something — though silently.

It often can feel like a surrender to the flow of life’s currents. So many of us correalte surrendering with losing control, because true acceptance involves letting go of our already fixated perspective on the outcomes of things, which can often feel uncomfortable and unsettling.

Control, in a way, gives us a sense of predictability and safety. When we feel as if we’re in control, its almost like we know what to expect and can feel prepared for whatevers to come. Surrendering, by contrast, requires us to trust that things will unfold as they should, without our constant intervention. But beneath its surface lies a dynamic force, one that fuels our ability to embrace change with a sense of grace and curiosity.

When we resist change, we think we're holding on to stability, but in reality, we're clinging to an illusion. The true power of acceptance is not in relinquishing our aspirations or goals, but in allowing ourselves the freedom to explore new possiblites without the weight of self-imposed limitations.

Acceptance invites us to release the need to always ‘know’ and to see the potential for a broader spectrum. It encourages us to maintain a sort of flexibility that doesn't confine us; it expands our path, allowing our vision to evolve in ways we hadn’t anticipated or could’ve even imagined.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,”

Isaiah 55:8

Understanding the difference between divine wisdom and human understanding, highlighting that God's perspective and plans are far beyond our human comprehension at times; therefore, by embracing change rather than resisting it, and accepting our reailty we allow God to show us what He truly has for us rather than limiting ourselves knowing we do not see the the full picture, having an opprotunity to truly practice our true faith, and willingness to grow and adapt.

Each change becomes an opportunity for innovation, a chance to redefine our limits. In this way, acceptance isn’t about settling for what is, but about making space for all that could be. It’s a dance with the unknown, a partnership with possibility that keeps our potential boundless.

In the end, acceptance isn’t about losing ourselves in the face of change; but about discovering new facets of who we are and all we can become. It’s the key to unlocking doors we didn’t know existed. So, when faced with change, it’s important to keep in mind that acceptance isn’t a closing off of possibilities — but a gateway to infinite horizons.
